01 / INTRODUCTION
MalX Core K9, operating under the structural foundations of high-drive canine development in Hoquiam, Washington, and serving the Pacific Northwest, provides specialized training, consulting, and evaluation services. By engaging with our professional services, the client (hereinafter referred to as "Client") acknowledges and agrees to the terms, disclosures, and liability releases outlined in this statement. We are dedicated to providing clear communication, structured discipline, and professional excellence.
02 / SCOPE OF SERVICES
Our protocols are designed for off-leash reliability, environmental neutrality, and precision engagement. Training services include, but are not limited to, obedience training, detection foundations, and structured developmental programs. Methods are rooted in working dog foundations and adapted to individual canine requirements. Clients agree to follow the specific protocols provided by MalX Core K9 to ensure consistency and safety throughout the duration of the program.
03 / ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Client acknowledges that participation in canine training involves inherent risks. MalX Core K9 specializes in high-drive working breeds and high-intensity engagement. Animals, regardless of training level, are capable of unpredictable behavior. Risks include, but are not limited to, injury from biting, scratching, lunging, or other aggressive actions. Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation in these services, recognizing that while we implement rigorous safety standards, animal behavior cannot be guaranteed with absolute certainty.
04 / LIABILITY RELEASE & INDEMNIFICATION
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Client hereby waives, releases, and discharges MalX Core K9, its owners, trainers, and agents from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages to person or property. This release extends to incidents occurring on or off the training premises and applies to actions taken by any animal under MalX Core K9 supervision or Client’s ownership. Client agrees to indemnify and hold MalX Core K9 harmless from any claims, lawsuits, or expenses arising from the dog’s behavior, including damage to property or injury to third parties.
05 / HANDLER & OWNER RESPONSIBILITY
The efficacy of MalX Core K9 training systems is predicated on consistent application by the owner. Client is responsible for maintaining the dog’s structure and following the professional guidance provided. Owners are responsible for the dog’s behavior at all times. MalX Core K9 provides the tools and education, but the owner must maintain the dog’s environmental neutrality and obedience reliability outside of formal sessions. Failure to adhere to the prescribed protocol may result in safety concerns for which MalX Core K9 is not liable.
06 / PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
MalX Core K9 maintains a standard of excellence aligned with the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). Our training is built on transparency, ethics, and the safe development of the canine-handler relationship through clear communication and established structure. This structured approach allows training to scale appropriately for high-drive dogs and family companions alike.
07 / SEVERABILITY & GOVERNING LAW
If any provision of this statement is found to be unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. This statement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington. This document constitutes the entire agreement between MalX Core K9 and the client regarding liability and disclosure foundations. Final acknowledgment of these terms is required prior to the commencement of any training engagement.
